Veronique De Raedemaeker (*1996, Belgium) studied violin in Antwerp, Brussels and Cologne with Alissa Margulis, Barnabás Kelemen and Philippe Graffin and is currently completing her concert exam studies with Mikhail Ovrutsky at the HfMT Cologne, where she graduated with the highest grade in the Master of Contemporary Music. She co-founded the ÉRMA Ensemble in Cologne, specializing in contemporary music, as well as the Trio Gilu in 2021, with which she released the CD Garland in 2022. Her CD Malinconia was awarded the Klara Wahl at the Flemish Radio. Veronique performs at festivals and concert series such as Verbier Festival, Klavierfestival Ruhr, Lucerne Festival, Acht Brücken Festival, Best of NRW. Fascinated by New Music, she had the opportunity to work with Helmut Lachenmann, Unsuk Chin, Enno Poppe, Heinz Holliger, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and others. She is a laureate of national and international competitions and performed in the violin concertos of Beethoven and Brahms. She was sponsored by the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation and is SWUK Flanders Artist in Residence from 2022 to 2023.
